what's the most hp you think you can get out of a 2.4 4| with stock internals?

Going what route? FI'd? I'd say if you had a turbo'd / heavily modded 2.4 with stock internals, you could probably get up to around 275 hp before you needed to start making the insides stronger. That's kind of just shooting in the dark though.
