Programming remotes

My 2002 century uses the STICKY's method of programming WITHOUT the Scan tool.

The service manual only describes the Scan tool method, so everyone thinks that the Scan tool method is the only method. This is simply NOT true.

YOU DON'T NEED THE SCAN TOOL TO PROGRAM A 2002 Century.

I wasted a few hours scanning the web just because of this misconception.

Moderator- please fix this in your sticky.

Re: Programming remotes

All the listed years are posted according to GM service manuals. I cannot verify what years will work with the older method and until then I will leave the post the way it is written.
