flashinng overdrive light
Once in awhile my 2001 4X4 4.0L Ranger overdrive off light will flash. The owners manual states this could be a transmission problem. It shift fines, fluid level is good and smells fine. Anybody have anyexpierence with this flashing light, what does it go off of? I have had it come on(flashing), and then never get it again for 6 months. Just a note, I always lockout the overdrive while around town or when pulling.
Thanks, Randy |

Re: flashinng overdrive light
I had this problem in the winter in NJ found out I wasn't letting the truck warm up so the shifting was sluggish
I let it warm up and no more problem |
