Old Paint

i have some testors paint thats been sitting still for a while. unfortunatly it has all formed into one big chunk... what should i do? the hobby storre is closed so i can't make a trip down there.. i need help fast

add a dash of paint thi nner or varsol, stir with a toothpick, works fine for me everytime.........in fact i always add a bit of thinner to new paint even.......i find it make's it go on smoother and brighter

EWW! NEVER EVER buy acrylic pai nts!!!.........btw enamel use paint thinner and acrylic use water, but acrylic is so damn gross and chitty. i bought some(what a wase of $$!) and they went on the model like friggin water color paint!..........grrrrr

i like acrylic for the smaller details. It's easy to work with, easier to get off (sometimes) without fucking up the rest of your model if you screw up, and it doesn't give you brain damage, you don't have to deal with thinner when cleaning up. Never use it as the primary body paint though, acrylic is basically plastic in paint form so it gives you the plastic look if it's applied to the body.

hrmm, how do you get yours to work so good then?!........mine always looks crummy

have to disagree with that , i use tamiya arcrylics through my airbrush and they work and look fine, just painted r34 in white and it looks great and i wont get brain damage and can clean up in water, you just have to do it right.

humm strange.. I love Acrylic paint... For air brush it's the best (easy to clean after) and for painting part it's also nice for bright color (red, jellow...)
