97' dies - battery drains only in gear
Hi Everyone,
This is my first time here. Got one of those intermintent probs that don't do it at shop. It's the reg. 3800 series II . When about halfway warm it will surge a few times and die. If driving at low speeds it will leave me coasting. The Buick tech says nothing seems wrong to him. After it acts up once or twice then it is smooth until next start-up. It started doing it just sometimes. Then I had to do the whole intake manifold thing ( by buick tech) and now it's everytime, except when at shop... Someone told me to charge battery fully and it did start up ok but now I note that batt drains while driving. At idle it will start 12 times but I drive 1 mile and battery too low to start Do ya know what might be shorting while transmission is ingadged or is that even the right lodgic? Running lights? Door locks? Micker Last edited by micker; 12-05-2005 at 01:57 PM. |
