Do you still have your repair receipt? If the repair was less then 7 years old from date of purchase you should be ok. I would go to another dealership. See this from Chamberlan:

"As part of the extended warranty, Ford will reimburse Class Members who have previously paid to replace a composite intake manifold on a Class Vehicle. The replacement must have occurred within the first seven years of vehicle operation. Class Members who wish to claim reimbursement must go to a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury dealer and seek reimbursement within 90 days after the Proposed Settlement becomes final. They must present their original receipt for the repair or a photocopy or duplicate thereof. The dealer will be authorized to provide a reimbursement check to Class Members that present such a receipt. Do not send the receipts directly to Ford, as that will only delay or potentially prevent any reimbursement claim from being processed through the proper channels."

My dealership has to wait until they get the money from Ford so they can give it to me. If you don't have a copy go to the dealership where you had the repair and get a copy. All they have to do is put in the vehicle identification number in their computer and it will spit out all repairs

Re: Intake Manifold Class Action

Are the squeaks caused from control arm bushings and ball joints?

Re: Intake Manifold Class Action

I really don't know what is causing it. It sounds like it is coming from front of the car. Possible front sway bar area. The guys at the ford place where I have it serviced (oil changes etc)tells me the ball joints are not worn. They recommended I have it looked at at the repair service dept. (Big $ area). I sprayed silicone spray on all bushings but no help. It squeeks when I push the front end up and down and also while turning. There goes my check ($250),oh well. (THIS IS A REAL LOUD SQUEEK)

Re: Intake Manifold Class Action

I am going to replace all the ball joints. I am told that is causing the noise. After 111K miles I can't complain.
