Starter Problems

Do you have a car with a starter that sometimes just clicks & doesn't start, until you cycle the ignition swich a number of times?

The problem is more than likely a bad starter solenoid. The solenoid starter contacts get eroded & do not make good contact every time.
Unfortunately the solenoid is attached to the starter & the labor involved makes it prudent to replace the Starter/solenoid assembly(as I'm sure a dealer would do). but if you do it yourself as I did, you can replace just the solenoid.
