headers
i just bought some flowtech long tube headers for my camaro, just wandering if u guys have any input on these. they ran me about $215. did i get jipped? i dont know too much about headers so help is appreciated haha

from what I've heard the cheapest good quality brand is pacesetter and new they usually run about $400. I've never heard of Flowtech, neither good not bad, but I can't imagine that you'd pick up a good set of new headers that cheap.

And Cuda Dude....from what I understand on the LS1 the Pacesetters are a good fitting good performing header. But I have also heard they suck for anything else.

exactly... CIA (clear image automotive) used to make high qulity ones but theyre expensive as all hell. Company downsized and stopepd making them now.

$149 Canadian $189 coated. Not the best around, but holds just fine, everything fits. Mine didnt leak at all, because the job was nicely done .Anyway all headers warp and leak at some point. The only problem is that you will have to make a custom wrench to access some of the plugs.
