Tachometer stuck at 6k
I was driving my 04 on the turnpike today (only the 3rd time on the turnpike), and I look down and the tach is stuck at 6,000 RPM's. My temperature and everything is fine. So I get off on my exit, and put it in neutral and it'll go down to about 5800. Is there a fix or can I hit it or will it just fix itself and go away?

Re: Tachometer stuck at 6k
Does it return to 0 when shut off?
If not, See if you can wriggle a thick wire in there and push it back down. Works when the battery gauge gets stuck in a funny spot. May have to remove the faceplate to get a wire in as the tach is pretty far from the button hole. If so, good luck with that! =P

Re: Tachometer stuck at 6k
Is it still under warranty?
