Sorry must have missed the part where he said the car rode bad to being with. Beside I don't see where you get off calling him an idiot for asking a question.

Yes they should fit. Not sure how skinny of a tire you would need but I am guess around a 35-40 series tire to make it work.

Re: Rims Questionnnn

I'm putting 17's on my car, maybe 18's. I could put up to 20's on the front and 22's on the back if I wanted too.

And who said it would ride crappy?

That would be funny to see. Kinda of stupid, however somewhat humorious.

Yeah it would look like a drag car. I've seen it done before, just not on a cavalier thou. haha quite humurous.

Why do you think you can call every newb an idiot when they ask a question? Do you honestly think you are better than us all? I doubt it. You seriously need to stop being a dickhead to people. You do it more and more and it's very childish.

Oh and the ride won't change if you go with 18's. That's what I have on my car and it is actually quite a bit better than stock. Although I took them off for the winter. I'd honestly wait till after winter to put them on. They suck in the snow because of the low profileness. That is the only bad thing about them. Otherwise they are awesome.

Re: Rims Questionnnn

Thers quite a few of us who have 18's on our Cavalier actually. The only difference is bigger size compared to stock...and your speedo might be off a tiny little bit. Not enough to be a problem though. They do let you go around corners faster too.

Re: Rims Questionnnn

Yeah 18's should be good. The biggest I'd put on mine are 17's but I'm not a big rim sort of guy. For now I'll keep my stock 16's (LS Sport rims), but eventually I'll get me some better ones.

I also have 18's. Tires are 225/40/18.

Re: Rims Questionnnn

Personally i think 17's would look better because you can lower the car a little more and tuck the wheels into the wheel wells a little more. The biggest i would go on my car is 16"......

Re: Rims Questionnnn

i would get some Rotas....they're lighter and since they're smaller diameter, they won't slow your car down....unless you get some big profile tires...
