the other day the little battery light on my mesage center came on and my voltage dropped to ten volts so i replaced the battery and alternator ,both checked out bad,and my battery light is still on even thou it has good voltage any ideas

It is possible that depending on what brand of ALT you purchased, it may not be sending a input signal to the PCM..or the wire is disconnected or has a bad connection

took my truck to the shop yesterday it has a module under the dash that burnt up. i'll find out exactly what module when i get back home next friday. hope nobody else has one go out just the part is $595
