1/8 mile track times
I took the ole rust rocket out to the track the other night for the first time to see what I can run. The first run was horrible, a 10.1. I was pretty disappointed and pissed off. Before the next run my friend let some air out of the front tires. We left around 20psi in. I let him drive my himself b/c he also has a h/b w/ a gsr. He comes back in w/ a 9.6 timeslip. At this point, I'm pretty happy and am eager to see what I can get. My competitor is a light green new VW Jetta w/ turbo. He redlighted, I still beat him and received my best time of the night, a 9.5.

I believe you meant that he redlighted, my best 1/8th mile so far was a 9.775 at about 70mph with the setup listed in my signature. The only difference from what I have now is the tires, I was running some 195/50/R15 Bridgestone Potenza SO3 Pole Positions at the time.
