2000 Silverado brake lights

Hi, I have a after market trailor reciever with a harness kit. The instructions on the wiring kit does not accomodate my brake lights. Is there a way to tie in the braking circuit or do I need to buy a different harness? Your advice would be appreciated, anyone?
Thanx

you should not need to wire in the brake lights. they should work with the turn signal wires. there should be 4 wires on a trailer light running lights, left signal, right signal, and ground. and it should work fine.
