Automatic headlight sensor

Can anyone tell me where the daylight sensor is on a 2006 Nissan Altima?
The headlights come on automatically at night, I want to cover the sensor so they will come on when the car is started.

Re: Automatic headlight sensor

The sensor is on the dash and looks like a half marble. You want your head lights to work like Canadian vehicles have been required for several years. The conversion is probably a simple jumper connection plugged in somewhere.

Is it located near the red security light?
I was going to cover the sensor with dark tape
