Re: Shaved Door Handles ?????
damn kid, realy tryen to keep up lol jk... can you mig or tig weld? if not, then no, its not a project for you... do you have an understanding of wireing diagrams and how to read and follow one? if no, then probibly not for you, although you can kinda figgue it out without extencive knowlage... do you know how the door pannels in your dime come off? if not need to learn, and i suggest the tool instead of the good ol pry method... if you (or someone you know) can accomplish all of this then it is simple to do, buy the kit, follow the directions
Edit: but as far as 'easy', no, it is pretty intencive, old out (including the latch bars for handles and locks inside the pannel... keep the locks in and youll lern the smartassness of your buddies) weld the plate in, install selonoid, and wire it all up... |

Re: Shaved Door Handles ?????
Well when you do get to the welding part.Don't lay one weld from start to finish. This will result in one hell of a mess.Instead weld like a quarter of an inch at a time and jump around the plate your welding in.There is also a gel spray now that you can buy to spray around the area where you'll be welding. You want to do this to minamize warping.

... I had a S10with a 350ci in it and had great mileage (when I wasn't stomping on it ... which was a rare occasion !!!). I had a 4 barrel carb and disconnected 2 barrels for daily driving and hooked up the 4 barrel for those "fun" drives !!

Re: Shaved Door Handles ?????
The reason of that is because I know if I have a V8 in a mini truck, i will have it in the floor all the time.. In a full size truck, I wont have it in the floor...
