Can someone tell me how much a set of stock rims for a 1988 lincoln towncar retail for or sell for cause i have a extra set im wantin to sell an dunno how much a stock set will go for.

If your are selling the rims and want to know how much for, i can safely assume that you are talking about the alloy rims, not the plain jane ones that require hubcaps. I bought a set of them for $200. I can't imagine anyone would pay more that $50 per rim for such a common car. I would recommend selling them for $50 a piece, but if you can get more for them, more power to ya!

Like he said above people just don't want to pay anything for used rims. It sounds like a harsh way to go, but you would be surprized what you could get for them at a scrap metal yard. You would have to remove the tires of course. Car wheels are made from the good alu. I've scrapped some really nice wheels before, but cash in pocket is better than having them collecting dust and taking up valuable space in the garage.

thats tru cash in the pocket is always good. ive had the tires taken off them rims cause the tires were almost new an put them on my buick so i have 2 sets of the rims but want to keep on for my lincoln an them have the little center cap to cover the lug nuts an the center.
