1991 ccr and heat

Hello >my car has 72K. I have a problem with the heat. It doesnt want to work all the time?? It blows and everything works except the heat?? is there a valve that could be bad?? and what is the ccr and how do I fix it? Thanks

yes, there is a heater control valve that controls the heat as for a ccr, I am not sure I follow you on that?

First guess on the heat would be the blend door not opening either due to binding or a leaking vacuum line. You'll need to look up under the dash to see what is what.

The CCR is the ride control.
