th350 overhaul

hey i just got a th350 tranny, bought a rebuild kit from pro-king, but now i just need the service manual for overhaul. i was just wandering if i could find some detailed instructions online instead of buying the manual. hey every penny saved counts. i just usually dont believe in buying books and manuals when u can find the same thing online for free most of the time.

I know you don't want to get one, but Autozone sells a book regarding GM transmission overhaul by Haynes and it's a great book - it shows the TH200-4R, the TH350, the TH400/3L80 and the TH700-R4/4L60. I've used it to rebuild all 4 transmissions. It's very in-depth. I think it's around $15. It's also $15 well spent when you're sitting down putting the thing together. If you're not willing to buy the book, you might go to a local library and check it out.

A couple of hints regarding the valve body -

#1, don't let the manual valve fall out of the valve body. That's the valve the shifter ultimately controls.

#2, don't let any lint get on or in the valve body.
