the movie theatre

i went to the dollar movies this holiday weekend with some buddies i graduated HS with. it was us 4 in a completely empty theatre. 5 minutes before the movie starts these gangsta wannabe's walk in and sit RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. WTF, hello there are like 75 other open seats. those douches had to sit right in front of us. what makes someone do this? it's completely dick of them

well, maybe there is another reason. maybe those spots have sentimental value. maybe its the first place they ever got head. first and only.

That's what I was thinking. I'll usually sit super close to the front for that reason. Like the 3rd row, which means if some dick wants to sit in front of me I move to front row and sit on my seat folded up till they move. Then return to third row.

you all make good points. it's just the principe of the thing i guess is what i'm getting at. i very easily could have moved, but i wanted those seats. they could sat like 5 seats to the right or left.

Thats when you get a huge ass thing of popcorn and sit a few rows back. Just start throwing it at them till they get pissed. I love watching people like that get all mad and stuff.

I like sitting in the back, that way you can see everything. Sitting in the front.. nah, because you gotta basicly look up to see wth is going on.

Another nice thing about sitting in the back is that you can get away with alot more if your girlfriend or boyfriends is there. Trust me, I can't remember most the movies I've gone to with my girlfriends.

yeah i had the same thing happen to me before i was up north *northern wisconsin for those of you that aren't familiar with that* and the theatre was practically empty except for a few other people. and this HUGE fat lady and her friend come and sit in the seat directly next to me. took my arm rest too, i just kinda looked at her like excuse me but wtf do u think you are doing. the whole place was virtually empty and they just HAD to sit next to me. the seat was broken too, they spent a good few minutes wrestling it down so they could sit with me. weird people...

man, i am behind apparently. ive only ever missed one movie at the theatre. and im usually quite the exhibitionist

though i have missed TONS of rentals. its always embarassing when im seeing a new guy and i dont realize ive "seen" the movie until halfway through, and then the "ohhhhh yeah!! ive seen this part!!"
