Smile Caravan Fix (somewhat) Instrument Problems

Heres another possible kind of sort of fix that may help some people.
I got a 98 GC SE, with all power, no alarm 3.3 liter.
First of all let me explain my situation: For a couple of months my instrument cluster has been going on and off, then it finally died a couple of days after installing another heater/rear wiper circuit board. I didn't realize it but this circuit board was the problem. Today I got an idea and unplugged this circuit board and low and behold the whole instrument panel came to life like magic
I put my old circuit board back in and it still works although I lost my rear wiper again (this was the reason for the new (used) circuit board.
Anyways now I'm wondering if this stupid van has a wiring problem with the rear wiper i.e. a bad ground or shorted wire somewhere.
Anybody else have this problem????
Well just wanted to let everyone know about this and hell if your van won't start or the gauges are dead it wouldn't hurt to try this out. Only four screws stopping ya Wish ya all best of luck as for now I'm just happy to know how much gas is left in my gas tank!!
O yea, before I forget heres a site all of us Dodge fans should definetely check out. Be brave this may be a scary experience :22yikes:

One more thing : Wondering if anyone else has noticed that the climate control conections don't match up. There is a notch that is supposed to be on the connector side, that matches up with the female connector on the circuit board. Mine was shaved off to accomidate a different board. I'm courious to know if this was the previous owner or a Dodge thing
