93 j30 can I reprogram???
car sat for 3 days, key fob wouldn't do anything, check bat OK open door horn goes off, key turns but will not ignition engine, dealer says, maybe key fob or reprogram, can I reprogram????? HOW??? Thank you....Ziff

Sounds like the alarm is set. You can arm and unarm the "alarm system" with the key. Put the key in the drivers door and unlock the doors by turning it clockwise. This should deactivate your alarm and let your car start. You can also arm the alarm system by turning the key counter clockwise in the drivers door.

yea the dealer is feeding you bs. just use the key to deactivate the alarm and then start it up and let it run for a good 10 mins to revamp the car.
