Re: WANTED: totaled continental

I have a 1995 Lincoln Continental that is totalled in my eyes. The car does run and drive, however, the front of the car was in a collision with a center concrete median. Let me know if this will help you in anyway, I am going to start taking the engine and the transmission out this week.

the entire car would be needed for this project, and the subframe cannot be damaged, do you have any pics of the car?

the subframe with engine and transmission is going to be swapped over so everything needs to be in the proper place, and it would help to be able to swap the cooling system and all of the electrical will be needed.

is any of the above destroyed?

Re: WANTED: totaled continental

I have a coolant leak, but I am not sure where it is coming from. The mounts are actually only 10 months old, and they are in great shape. There is no frame damage at all, it is all cosmetics. I will send you pics tomorrow. I will try to see where the coolant is leaking from, it may be the radiator. After the collison I drove the car for about 15 minutes, to where it is now.

Sorry the car is probably made into another vehicle by now. The junkyard came and got the car about a year ago.
