hey everyone, I recently slid in some snow and hit a curb which bent the hell out of my rim, now i need a new one. junkyards are wanting to charge like 100 bucks and im not interested in that, does anyone know a good place to go i already checked ebay but they dont have my style at a price im willing to pay. i have a 97 its the straight 5 spoke sparkling silver rims. thanks

$100 is cheap for a replacement factory wheel, especially if it has a decent tire on it. I'd jump on it, as I doubt you're going to find one cheaper.

The day of cheap rims are over. Getting a rim now a days will cost you. A set of GTX rims sold for $3,000.00 not too long ago. Pay the $100.00.

I have a 95 Grand Prix and did the same this past weekend. I called around and found only two junkyards that had rims. One place wanted 100 dollars. The second one wanted 35 dollars, but I had to drive some ways to get it for 35 bucks. Not to menchine it has a small ding in it but hey, i will be the only one that notices it.
I also had to get an alignment done on my car and now the wheel sits back to far and rubs the fender wall if i go too far to the right. So now i gotta move the strut foward at the tower to make up for this. GL man |
