rear disc conversion?

I've got a '99 Grand Caravan (3.3FF FWD) with rear drums on it, one of which has started squealing. I'm interested in replacing the rear brakes with discs, and I was wondering what parts would be involved. Is it just "remove drum, piston (what's the pressure part of a drum brake called?), and hub; install hub, disc, and caliper", utilizing the same parking brake cable and brake lines, or is there much more involved?

The pressure part of a drum brake is called the brake wheel cylinder

I think there would be a lot more to it, master cylinder, proportoning valve etc., and you may run into computer problems. The brake lines would be different I would think and the original parking brake cables would not work at all.

Do a internet search and see if you can find a kit that does the conversion and see if you can find more out that way. Good luck!
