350 engine block

I have a 90 gmc truck with a blown engine. Will an older style 350 block work if I use my heads and intake? I know that I will have to put a plate over the fuel pump hole. What about the front, will all of my accessories bolt up? Will the 700r4 bolt up?

Re: 350 engine block

Not sure about the accessory brackets but the flex plate or flywheel will not work from your 90. The tranny will bolt up. Heads and intake will bolt up. Just not sure about the accessory brackets.

Why not get a short block with a 1-piece rear seal like your 90 already has? Then you know everything (including accessory brackets) will work.
