clothes for dogs/cats

why do people buy clothes for their dogs? i mean i can understand if u have a short haired dog and you live in wisconsin *like i do* or any other wintry place and it's too cold for them to go outside. but the people that constantly buy sweaters, shirts, vests, rainslickers, boots, scarves, hats and any other shit we have at petsmart are just retarded. dogs are meant to wear clothes.
i'm a cashier and i swear every person that has ever purchased our line of winter boots for their dog has returned them and was shocked that 1) their dog didn't like them 2) they didn't fit...
i got a job at a petstore cuz i didn't want to fold clothes for my job..oh well. people make such a mess of it too. they rip like 50 sweaters off the hangers, move them around and leave them in big piles on the floor. thanks a bunch people. but the thing that pisses me off the most is when people let their dogs shit or piss all over the store and they won't clean it up. one lady even went up to one of the guys that i work with and was like my dog just pooped on your floor and then rudely told him that it's HIS job to clean up after her dog...i love my job and the people i work with but sometimes there are just certain things people do that really get to me

It's a waste of money. Unless they have a reason the dog news to wear something. But then again the only reason I could see is if they owned a short haired dog and it is well below -10 were they live. People just don't have anything better to spend there money on. Just my 2cents though.

I liked buying clotches for my ex. It's kind of weird though, what's the point of buying her clothes if she's going to be so happy she'll take it off anyway

I wish there was a job where you can just love. Like, it doesn't even have to be a career, just a job. I work at Boston Pizza. The waitresses are hot and all plus you get to meet new people everyday, but if there are trainees in the back, then there's going to be some fucked up orders and you're the one that's going to have to face the customers. You should speak with your manager or something, ask them to put a sign up concerning shit cleaning your own dog

Re: clothes for dogs/cats

Just be happy you don't work at a restuarant. I've been working at them for sometime now(it becomes this lifestyle) I can tell you shit that would make you never want to eat out again(generally not employees fucking with the food, just overall nastyness.) The best are the midnight cleaning raids the day before the health inspectors come. Those nights you have a crew of like 10 people comes in and work 10+hours cleaning every fucking thing in the place so the it won't get shut down. God I love and hate my job, i swear restuarants are the only place where a hangover is an acceptable reason to go home and where you can tell your boss to fuck off and not get fired. Peace-

I almost had it happen to me once, something slipped out of my mouth and the mananger came right over to me and had a talk.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Sexual harrasment at a restuarant????? Are you kidding me??????? IN A KITCHEN??????? The kitchen is the men's place, even if you have a women working in there they get it. A kitchen is the last frontier in the workplace. You can say whatever you want, whenever you want, to whoever you want. Seriously man, maybe pizza places are different, but in a kitchen there is no such thing as sexual harrasment. Peace-

All places are different. She lightened up once she got to know me. This happened with in the first week of work. In the end we were pretty much best friends. With the place I was working at there was only about 12 employees and about 7-8 of them were women. All the men were deliverly drivers, but were also expected to help out when needed.

Been there done that many of times. The only reason I could get away with telling my boss to f*ck was the fact the thought that my mom was hott. To think about it thats the only reason he hired me in the first place. He hated me, but oh well now he is deliverying chinese food... He was such an a$$hole

Re: clothes for dogs/cats

my dog has a coat. he is a california puppy, born and raised there. he moved to toronto, then i flew him out here to saskatoon when i moved here. his fucking feet are cold, ok?

hes used to 30 degree weather all year round, now in saskatoon, it gets to -40 celcius sometimes. its at least -10 for about 4 or 5 months out of the year. damn straight he's going to wear a coat. and boots, boots too. im not going to carry him up 3 flights of stairs again becuase his poor feet froze and he can't walk.

and hes a 60 pound lab mutt.

I have to admit my mom and dad have bought clothes for our dog. One is a small Nebraska jersey, which is kinda a novelty thing anyway, i think its funny. The other is a hoody type thing, which seeing as it's a Yorkie and it gets freezing here in the winter, if he goes for walks it actually does serve a purpose. I have to agree that goin all out and buying a ton of clothes for your dog is stupid though. BTW, wut part of Wisconsin are you from? I'm from the northern part if Illinois, although I'm at college in central Illinois now.
