governor on a 94 cavalier
How do i either remove or bypass the governor shutoff of 106 mph in my 94 cavalier?

and so you guys know i'm not removing it to race on the street i do it on a closed track in illinois

Depends on what all you have done cause unless you think you can go that fast and I doubt that highly its just pointless.

What kind of track? If you know how to get a Cavi to do 106 in the quarter, you know how to remove the VSS. Or have I said too much?

i take it on the closed track to see how fast i can get it, they open the track to legal street cars every wednesday and thursday from 2 till 10 pm

The governor really isn't that hard to remove, just VERY time-consuming. You shouldn't need to remove it and it's illegal to do so anyways. Unless you know how to do it already, then don't learn unless you have a professional show you how too.

Wouldn't removing it cause the speedometer to not work at all or mess up the ECU?

Is it a quartermile track!? Because if it is and you are going 106, then you know how to do it!
