92 bonniville cuts off

the battery is charged but when i unhook the positive cable it cuts off i had the altenater checked and its fine what could it be

That is normal, can't check alternators like that, what is the problem, never gave us the condition???

Don't do that on a computer controlled car. If you haven't already fried your ECM, you're trying to by doing so.
