2000 beetle - headlights and t/s out

my daughter has a 2000 beetle which she just replaced the battery and after drivng back to school the headlights and turn signals went out.

were the battery cables installed backwards.. it could blow out the bulbs

the windshield wipers do not work either.

remove the battery and check the ground cable under the battery tray

You probably need some headlight fluid.

check the fuses may have blown them out.or if it has a fusable link maybe burnt out.
