How to remove the Oil Pan on a 1993 Taurus

I need to change the oil pan gasket on a 1993 Taurus with 3.0 engine. I look under there and it seem like a simple job. It look like I only have to remove the exhaust system. But, like many cars looks can deseive you.

Do anybody know all of what I need to remove to change the gasket.

Thanks,

Hello

Make sure you get the surfaces all clean, free from dirt, oil, and old gasket material. Then follow the instructions that came with the gasket. Make sure you use a torque wrench so the bolts and gasket has the correct pressure on them.

I've gone around two to three times torquing the bolts.

Regards

Dan
