Engine ID

I'm looking to buy a engine block from a guy that clams it is from a corvette, not sure on what numbers are needed to ID, here is a couple that I found......3782870.........F1863.....I'm looking to find out the year,what is the CID, HP if possable and what this engine might of came out of and the value of this block. If I need more numbers let me know where to find them........Thank you

Looks to be a 63 or 64 year 327. There should be punched numbers on the front of the block on the right side just in front of the #2 cylinder bore. Post those complete and it'll narrow it down some more. Not sure it can be determined whether or not it's a Vette block though. Base engine wouldb an RC or SC suffix on the stamped code.
