Shift timing 2000 cavalier

hi,
i was wondering if anyone knows the perfect shift timings (in RPMs) from 1st to 2nd , 2nd to 3rd etc....
if anyone knows them they would b a great help...thanx

2.4 or 2200? if its the 2200 im not sure if its perfect but i use 5200 rpms for all gears, except 4th, the governor kicks in before 4th gear can get to 5200

at 4800 on the 2.2 2200 my engine is whistling n hummin so is it ok 2 take it 2 5200 RPM? i shift at 4800 and i chirp 2nd

yeah, its ok to take it to 6000, thats the redline, and thats when the rev limiter kicks in, the peak horsepower is at 5200 though
