I can help a little, I swapped a 300 six in a 83 with a 302 and had to change the motor chasis mounts, oil pan and tranny. I was told that some fords were internally ballanced and if you mix a straight drive to a motor that was auto it could have a vibration, and i had that prob so i went with a c6 automatic, also some of the newer fords had a double sump oil pan and if your motor is an older one it prob has a single hump pan.

fuel injected? if not that makes it easier. i assume you live in a place with no emmission tests.

As of right now my emission equip only has to be on the vehicle whether it works or not don't make ne difference at this time but i'm sure the sniffermachines are on the way the 351 i want to swap in is fuel injected but wireing it in shouldn't be a problem my father and i are very good with electrical i would just like to know what exactly i am getting myself into before i tear it apart so if i need an oil pan or motor mounts i can have them here when i go to do the swap i'm still deciding if i should drop the 351w in or rebuild the 300 that is in it
