99 4wd s10 blazer transmission oil cooler

Trying to install transmission oil cooler. So far I could not find any listing here on how to do that. I tried mounting it in front of the A/C cooler but there is hardly any space available for that. Mounting it in front of the fan would leave very little space between the fan and the cooler and I do not like the idea anyways since it will block air flow over the radiator which seems to be hanging by the thread in keeping up with cooling this cars. I am trying to avoid installing it somewhere else on the car and having to mount a fan to cool it down just to keep the cost down a bit.
The other question is, how to do the pluming for that cooler it seem like its easier just to buy new pipes and do the connation that way, is there any kits or anyone know what type of threads do they have at the end entering the radiator.
What is the optimal operating temp for that trani and what would happen if I go below that number?
How can I check if the oil coil inside the radiator is plugged up or not?
I understand that I am asking too many questions, but I think if the answers do not exist then by the time they are answered we will end up with a nice set of information for every body to share and know.
Thank you
