Am i missing something here?

My life has been going to hell lately, and i guess i just need a couple second opinions on my situations.....thanks guys, and sorry its so long.

Situation # 1 ) July-- I was working as a bagger at Smiths grocery store in kalispell. It was strictly for some extra cash cause almost everyone that works there is a deralict. anyways one of my co-workers was this chick named Kate, shes a ditzy blonde that kinda looks like a bunny, now i tried to be nice to kate i really did, said hi to her when i saw her smiled never said a bad word about her, in fact i thought she was ok.......anyways one day im working till 12am, and i meet steve, who is on the nightcrew, i was doing go-backs around 10:30, (which is where you collect all the crap from the registers that the customers decide they dont want and put it back) anyways steve was stocking shelves and we started talking, ended up talking to him for a good hour or so, and we made plans to go swimming the next day, i thought we had a good connection and he seemed really cool ...

Next day -- steve calls around 3 and i meet him at his house only to find out that its not just me and him swimming like i thought, its me him kate, devin, ricky, brittany etc....about 15 people, anyways we go swimming and get pizza later, and its then that i realize kate is giving me the dirtest looks, im like WTF??? and i will admit that yes i liked steve he seemed really cool and all....

...Later -- i find out from curtis (one of steves friends that is really cool) that steve has a gf that he didnt even bother to tell me and kate about, and not only that she is his ex-fiances little sister, and his friend devin's ex gf....im like whoa dude that is fucked up. anyways i decide im totally cool with just being friends with steve, cause well, ewww after knowing that...ya i just wanna be friends.... so through out late july to the present me and steve have hung out , gone paintballing, chilled, and such, ive never made a move on him and vice versa, i thought we were cool....

Yesterday-- I work at arbys now and steve and kate came in last night and got food before going to a movie, steve casually chatted with me for a bit and i said a polite hi to kate, they got there food, and then steve came and gave me a hug before leaving (much to the disliking of kate)...anyways i thought we were all cool

Yesterday Night -- I get off work and hang out w/ ian and tyler for a bit and come home around 1am, anyways curtis is online and starts talking to me we talk fot a bit and then i tell him i saw kate and steve earlier at work (curtis has hated kate with a passion since he met her and is extremley frustrated with steve for whining about kate and still hanging out with her ) anyways curtis makes the comment that he hates it how steve and kate always talk behind my back when ive dont nothing wrong...im like what??? so this is what he says: "i just hate it how they criticize you for doing nothing wrong, they always say how pathetic you are for still trying to get steve, and how hard you try for him, they both say they fucking hate you..." Im just like....what?? i never knew....it just doesnt make sense to me.....i mean if you hate me , tell me and then dont hang out with me, whatever but dont still chill with me and then bitch about me behind my back......whats ur guys comments on this situation??


Situation # 2)

This time its about Ian....

I met Ian at the end of september. he goes to my HS, and hes a year younger. He is absolutley crazy about snowboarding and i swear he would sell his soul for it...anyways we hit it off great, he was really cool and such we started hanging out alot, we got along really good, and he told me i was the coolest chick he had ever met...but he was always different when we hung out without all his other friends... i never really though much of it, we got along great, however i just transferred to my current HS, and so im quite a loner, while ian has tons of friends, hes always busy at lunch and what not, so i am usually alone, not that i expect him to be with me all the time, i know he has his own life....anyways we started talking about going out, and i went over to hang out at his house, a couple weeks ago and we kissed. but now hes just started ignoring me i only see him if i call and ask to hang out, or he only texts me if i text first, well ok, if your feelings have changed lemme know.....it finally bugged me enough to ask him about it and he just says nothings different he just doesnt want a gf while its snowboarding season.....well whatever, but i saw him up on the mountain the other day, (i snowboard too) and he didnt even recognize me, hmm....am i just overreacting ....whats ur guys opinions???

1. Go tell steve and kate what you think about them and embarrass them somehow maybe.

2. Ian doenst like you anymore, either he thinks your a bad kisser or he realized it was a mistake. I know this because its happened to me more then once and its exactly how I reacted

As for your situation, i'll tell you the same thing i told my "little sister"(not really, just a friend we call each other brother and sister) What happens now, isn't going to mean shit, 1 year from now, especially if you're in high school, so why put so much thought into it. Move on and dont give a shit about any of those other people....

Just go up and tell people however you feel and do whatever you want to do. If the high school clique doesn't like it, tell them, word for word, "you don't like it I got two words for ya, fuck you!"
