Problem with New Diamond Headlights

Hello,

I'm talking about my 96 Blazer I installed a upgraded wire harness and while I was waiting for my Diamond semi sealed beam head lamps to arrive I installed 2 sealed beam headlight to the upgraded harness and everything worked like it's supposed to, but once the new head lamps came I hooked them up with the H4 55W bulbs I bought by Phillips and now the highlight gauge light stays on and when I try and click them off the headlights go very dim with the highlight indicator still on.

I don't know what to make of it as the regular sealed beam lights were working fine with the new harness.

Any ideas??

Thanks, Rick

Sounds like a grounding issue to me... I would double check your connections. I would also run power directly from the battery for the headlights and have them come on via relay if your harness didn't already come with that.
