95 Escort - Heater Problem
Hello,
I have a 95 Escort. The heater seems to be acting wired. The blower works fine but some times it blows hot air like a normal heater should and other times it blows a mix of warm and cool air together and some times it jsut blows cool air. My A/C works fine but this heater problem is a real pain, I need heat in my car I live in canada and winters a fricken cold. Collin |

Don't know your level of expertise but this is a symptom of being low on coolant. Look in the radiator and make sure it's full. I'm not talking about the coolant reservoir. Actually look in the radiator and see what you have.

Good point J-WAlk! I have some scars from an overheated engine. Tooke the radiator cap of a 1981 Olds Cutlass DIESEL that had a blown head gasket. Looked like 'Old Faithful' when it blew. Had 2nd degree burns on my left torso. Was out of work for two weeks. Ouch!!!! Of Topic. Have you heard of REO Speed wagon? "REO" stands for 'Ransom Eli Olds', maker of the Oldsmobile. Speedwagon was a truck. Good trivia question to amaze your friends!
