91 escort VTEC yo

sat night on "the loop" was a 91 FORD ESCORT not a GT escort or anything terribly respectable, but a busted ass 91 escort, no big deal but half the car was primered, right over the escort emblem you can just pull off when you paint the car, on top of that it said VTEC tuning right above the ford emblem, to top it all off it had a wing, a gaudy cheap alum/plastic wing

my buddy w/ the 1g that runs 12's messed w/ the guy but didn't have a chance to show him his place in the ultimate world if street racing...

so i start heading home and i'm laughing at this guy and i'm making sure he can see me laughing at him (rolled the windows down and all) just in case there was any doubt, i also pointed and told other people to look at it too

i drove to the far end of "the loop" just messing w/ him non-stop, and i head up another street, wide where its 2 lanes and i see an S10 turn from another street, w/ red underglo and he's driving a little more than moderately, he honks at me and i start pointing behind me toward the escort. i'm still laughing mind you.

the guys are laughing in the S10 as much as i am and we've all come to a stoplight, me and the escort are going straight and the s10 is turning.

The guy in the escort was not laughing, he was not smiling. he was dead serious and revved his engine at me and the s10 guy. well i woulda done it w/ a paseo, so screw it, i went for it

i was laughing so hard i didn't see the light turn green right away and from a horrible 1k rpm slip out at green i took off and he actaully broke traction next to me as i heard his squeeling tires falling behind me, he had not a chance as i shifted into second and short shifted at 4k. into 3rd. i never broke the speed limit racing him and i put plenty of lengths on him. and when the ricer flyby came, i made sure he stayed at my rear bumper and i lost him turning into a more residential area so he wouldn't follow me anymore.

i laughed about it the entire way home, but unfortunately never did get any pictures of the car's insignia, though it was priceless
sorry cassie, maybe he'll be out next friday, though i don't kno if he'll have the guts to come out

come on eps, the guy was a moron putting that shit on his car. Its like some fruitcake Ive seen around a couple of times with a blue 2005 corrola S. the guys has Grand Turismo 4 stickers all over his car and it actually says "Corrola Type-R" on the trunk.

wow, you know i had a 90 escort. that was the slowest car ive ever been in. maybe except our old 87 caravan, but idk its close. VTEC FORD WOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry Elchico, no one here understands the loop and the looptards. I gotta find that one, but I wont be out this weekend, doing stuff with the GF tonight, then getting hella fucked up tommorow night. Its almost as bad as the Cavy GTR out here in Jeff. well,, he can keep up w/ a 12 second rx-7 and by keep up i mean, door to door w/ a slight stu advantage... besides that he has no traction so he might actually be low 13's or something at least until he gets his AWD shell together

True...who did he keep up with? Obviously it wasn't lane_change becuase he is far to above us meer mortals to race. After all, his former RX-7 was the godliest of vehicles on CSR. I'm suprised he didn't charge us a service fee just to look at his sig
