Brake Capiler
My car is painted black im going to get my front brake capilers painted red. I saw this one car like mine and it had rear brake capilers. Can someone tell me how in the world dose that work. is it just for show or do they really work. and how can i get some on my car.

Yes they are functional, they're called rear disk brakes. I'm not too familiar with 4th gens but I know the Si definently has them. If you don't have rear disk brakes then you have rear drum brakes. You could do the conversion if you wanted to.

The cost for install at my local shop is $225 for labor and the '97 integra gs rear disks, plus I had to pick up '91 Crx Si e-brake cables that cost $120 new, looking around $345 total give or take, i will double check all the prices when i get back in town to make sure....

i bought my rear disc for 125, then i needed new calipers cause they were siezed and i used the integra ebrake cable. this was from a 90 integra. you can use the rear discs from any civic or integra with rear disc. they all fit

ONLY and i did say ONLY 90-91 crx si's came with rear disc. no civics came with them in the US.
and a junkyard rear conversion shouldnt cose more than 100 bucks.

if he was only talking about 88-91 civics/crx, which i dont think he was, then he should have specified that because when he says "no civics came with them in the us" that is just not talking about 88-91 now is it.
