2001 Town & Country Sidedoor will not electrically open in cold weather

hello folks, this is my 1st post here.

i got a question maybe some1 has an idea how to approach it.

i got a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country LXI with automatic side-doors.

when the weather is cold (around 50F or less) the passenger-side side-door will not open electrically, it has to be opened manually.

when the weather is warm it is just fine.

any ideas to what might cause this?

thanks,

Maor

I would look at and wipe clean any contacts in the sliding door jam. My van doesn't have auto doors, but cleaning the contacts cured my auto power lock problems.

Probably the door rollers need to be lubed , when they get cold it takes more to move the door and the motor can't pull it closed. Get some good synthetic lube and lube I think their is 4 rollers per door .
