2.8 88 s10 stalls and sputters at idle without brake depressed and dosen't w/brake

I have an 88 s10 with a 2.8 auto. Weather conditions don't effect the problem. The truck runs pretty well but when I have been driving for a while and put the truck in park it stalls, unless a add vacum by pressing on the brake. Also when I decel the trunk rpms go up and down, again unless I press on the brake to add vacum( vacum I think). After stoping at a light and let off the brake and step on the gas it sputters, until I press on the gas a little further. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, coil,cap, rotor, fuel pump, fliter's,injectors. No codes come up on the ecm and can't figure out what to do. The temp while driving is good, but I will be trying to replace the ect temp sensor since its only $11 and think that might cure the problem... This problem has been going on for a long time and any sugestions would be good. any further information will be posted if problem is fixed, if not the temp sensor didn't work. Please help and thanks for taking the time to help me....

I have to drive with two feet, one on the gas and one on the brake at stop lights, to keep the truck from dying....

Yeah I cleaned and checked the EGR and the timing. It still does the same thing. It did help though, thanks. I have even replaced the coolant sensor and that helped too, but it still happens. Please help, thanks in advance.
