94 Center Console

Are the consoles the same for a 94 both manual and auto, the only diffrence being the shifter plate? I found a camaro in the junkyard thats an auto but mine is a manual, so all that would need to be changed is the shifter plate?

I am trying to replace my broken manual center console with one that is from an auto. My question is isn't the physical center console the same for both the auto's and manual, minus the plastic shifter plate/shifter boot.

Well the center consoles come in two pieces. An upper portion for the shifter itself, and the lower portion. The lower portion can be switched out with any other one. But the upper portion is only swappable with whatever type of trans you have.
