ABS and Warning Light Appear for few seconds
Two days ago my ignition fuse blown out and i replace it with a new one. Today i've notice that sometimes when i brake the ABS and the Warning Light come out. What's wrong with it? do i have to reset the ECM after changing the fuse or my ABS has malfunction?
Thanks.... |

Re: ABS and Warning Light Appear for few seconds
No relation to other previously reported problems. I do not have ABS on mine...but my brake alarm light comes on as soon as brake fluid level goes down a little. ALso happens when rear wheel brakes are not tight adjusted. Maybe good for every one to know that automatic brake adjustment work ONLY when you brake HARD in REVERSE...and you need to do that exercice a little hard, on purpose, and repeat, for the adjustment to take place. If you never brake hard in reverse, the auto adjustment does not follow wear and the mismatch between front and rear fluid request causes an alarm.
With ABS, alarm often come from failed wheel sensors..but this alarm stays. But there is an array of failure modes for ABS....not too fond of this contraption.

Re: ABS and Warning Light Appear for few seconds
I've tried the automatic brake adjustment method as u suggested and it was success. Both of the dash light are gone now. Thanks again LMP.
