Looks like I may have an interested buyer for my car

OK usually I get alot of compliments on my car, but I figured this time I wanna see if the guy is truly interested in purchasing a car like it, by offering to sell it to him (No Matt, i'm not giving him your number for your Z28).

I'm over at Rydell Chevrolet, getting my car serviced. Whilst signing the paperwork, I see some guy approach the girl that just came out before me. He immediately ask her if it is hers. She says no, and he wants to know who owns it. Out steps me, and he tells me, "nice car". I told him thanks, and asked him if he was interested in buying it. He said "yes"
I told him to quote me how much he is willing to pay, and he said he couldn't say, and something about a man's dream cannot be quoted on or something to that nature (Blah, blah, blah). He gave me his phone number, so i'll give him a buzz sometime tomorrow, and see if he will give me $3K and take over payments, and most likely work down from there.

The car is honestly in exceptional condition. It isn't falling apart, and as many members have found out, it is a runner (I've beaten quite a few members with it). I just don't see it as my type of car, no matter what I do with it. Now the question is, will this guy go for it or not. Time will tell. Hopefully he is interested.

Why didn't you give him my number?

I'd give him one hell of a deal on mine.

Re: Looks like I may have an interested buyer for my car

I'm not looking to attain more debt TatII. I'll most likely look for a Subaru WRX (Normal version, 2002-2003). Either one of those or an RSX Type-S, or maybe even a Integra GS-R). Don't really know just yet.

Matt, i'd tell him to buy your car, but I don't need any enemies at this point

coming from a fast import to a stockz28
I will say you're insane.

Yes my hatch might be faster then then my Z but the street feel is like night and day. I could never give up torque on a daily driver now.

I understand cost and all but those cars listed are in the mid 10s also.

If you really do want a little gokart for a daily driver 5th gen civic and K20 swap.

Bwahahahaa, this car isn't stock. It has 351whp (About 410 at the flywheel, though not that much torque ~like 390~). It also isn't a Z28, it's a WS6. I have owned imports and domestics, I don't play favorites (I've owned the following cars thus far in my life: 1986 Buick Skyhawk T Type, 1987 MR2, 1998 Cobra Mustang, 1992 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo, 2000 Acura Integra GS-R, 2000 Z28, 2003 Lancer Evolution, 2001 Trans Am WS6).

I'm not looking for a car with more problems then my current one.

Wow, going from an Evo to a WS6? Two different worlds. Why not get a 350z?

Cause they are slow, and they get horrible gas mileage to boot. I've worked out all the bugs on this car. Just cruised in it today, and fishtailed it around the corner. I'm really thinking about me selling it and being miserable afterwards. The guy that is interested is a sales and leasing consultant at the dealership, which makes me very wary of making any deals with him.
