Satellite Radio Question

I have Sirius in my house. I want it for my car. They no longer make the car kit for my plug n play receiver. But from reading other threads im getting the impression since i have a Sirius ready head unit can i just plug in the antenna to the head unit? Or do i need an actual Sirius receiver in the car as well.

If the head unit is SIRIUS ready then it should work. and just cuz they don't make the car kit doesn't mean you can't get them. That's what ebay is for.
