screeching sound

my car makes a screeching sound as if something is loose, can anyone tell me what that is? the car is running good, just kind of annoying.

drive belt squeal? when does it happen? can you be more descriptive?

it happens once the car is already warmed up, it makes a rattling, screeching sound, but now that you mention it, as soon as i turn on the car and only if the car is still cold, the belt makes a rubbing sound.
