memorys seat forget when using keyless entry

Hi,
I have a 2003 Grand Voyager(Town and country to you I think).
Anyway my wife has her own remote entry fob, I have programmed the memory seat so it moves to her setting when she uses her fob and the ditto for mine. It was all working fine and then one day I noticed that the seat was not moving into position for the appropriate fob. You could physically press the '1' or '2' button in the car and it they would work fine. I reprogrammed the positions to the fobs and it was all OK for about a week and then it happened again and again.
Now here is the biggy, I have noticed the following thing happen and I now realise it coincides with the problem with the fobs.
I turn the ignition and the car fails to start and the speedo and tacho needles go to max quickly and then fall back to their '0' positions. I try to restart the car and it is fine. But the seats need synchronising to the fobs.

ANY IDEAS?

Thanks for reading my first post.

Re: memorys seat forget when using keyless entry

I have a 2001 T&C with the same problem only everytime I mess with reprogramming the Fobs the theft system starts acting up and won't allow me to start the vehicle. I have to lock the doors without using the Fob and let the vehicle sit for a while before it will come out of the theft mode. The dealership is completely puzzled.

Let me know if you figure it out. I'll do the same.
