Completed: '99 Revell Lightning converted to Buddy's '02 Lightning

Finally got this pig done. Converting the grille was hell; I posted about it in the main forum a while ago but I figure I'll show it again. Still have some minor touchup to do on the body, and the badges, but otherwise pretty much done.

Had to turn this grille:

Into this grille:

A few progress pics on that:

Aaaand the finished product (with bigs n littles on drag wheels):

Excellent job with the grille conversion, must've taken a world of patience but the product is excellent!

nicely done lightning. Paint the middle of the tips or drill it out to give it the real tip look. Which kit did you get the slicks/rims from?

I have a pile of extra wheels and tires. The wheels off the top of my head are from an AMT Barracuda kit, and the tires could be from anything with a set of "cheater" slicks.
