A/C knob lights out????

I have a 2000 accord and the A/C knob light went out while i was driving... i am assuming it's just the light bulb but i didn't open to check what it is... Has anybody had that problem before? The climate control and the other one is still good.... I have read that if u installed a cd player or something u get a short but i would assume all those knobs are on the same power light and if i had a short it would have taken all of them out. I installed a honda cd player but that was a year and half ago. I would assume if that was the problem it woulda gone out a long time ago... if anyone has the answer for this problem let me know thanx.
