Digital Clock Stays On
Hi all,
I recently noticed the clock in my 94' Camaro was staying lit while the car was turned completely off. My battery also recently died and I had to replace it. Do the digital clocks always stay on and I just haven't noticed it until now, or did I accidently hit a button to make it stay on when the car is off. If thats the case, how do I turn it off so my battery won't go dead a second time? Thanks for your help. |

Re: Digital Clock Stays On
Even if the clock was supposed to be off, but stayed on, it draws such little power that it would have to be on for perhaps two years continuous to affect the battery, so the problem is likely somewhere else.

Re: Digital Clock Stays On
My 1994 Camaro dose the same thing, with the key off the raido plays UNTIL I open the drivers door to get out...I found it odd as well...Dose it have something to do with the inside light shut off timer? (my inside lights stay on for 15 or so sec's after I get out)

Re: Digital Clock Stays On
It could be a loose wire making contact behind the radio. Is it factory or aftermarket?
